THE PROMPT:

Using Dagoberto Gilb’s essay “Pride” as a model, define in narration and description one of the following terms:

Compassion, Fairness, Equality, Dignity

Define the term by showing people who exhibit it, or the opposite of it, and the ways the quality comes through in life. The people can be yourself, people you know, people you’ve read or heard about, or characters from our book or any work of fiction.
