Abstract

We previously investigated two-dimensional infrared (2D-IR) spectroscopy of CO2" role="presentation" style="display: inline; line-height: normal; word-spacing: normal; overflow-wrap: normal; white-space: nowrap; float: none; direction: ltr; max-width: none; max-height: none; min-width: 0px; min-height: 0px; border: 0px; padding: 0px 2px 0px 0px; margin: 0px; position: relative;">CO2CO2 in alkylimidazolium ionic liquids.1 Peak 1c (Fig. 5 in the original paper) was not assigned in the original paper. Pump power-dependence, frequencies, and sign show that it is a fifth-order signal, as are several other features. The correct assignments of the ν3" role="presentation" style="display: inline; line-height: normal; word-spacing: normal; overflow-wrap: normal; white-space: nowrap; float: none; direction: ltr; max-width: none; max-height: none; min-width: 0px; min-height: 0px; border: 0px; padding: 0px 2px 0px 0px; margin: 0px; position: relative;">ν3ν3 2D-IR spectrum of carbon dioxide in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium trifluoroacetate [C4C1Im][TFA]" role="presentation" style="display: inline; line-height: normal; word-spacing: normal; overflow-wrap: normal; white-space: nowrap; float: none; direction: ltr; max-width: none; max-height: none; min-width: 0px; min-height: 0px; border: 0px; padding: 0px 2px 0px 0px; margin: 0px; position: relative;">[C4C1Im][TFA][C4C1Im][TFA] are given in Fig. 1 and Table I.
