1) How the Western Canon has influenced the past and present tradition of literature.

2) The importance of resisting, reacting to, and questioning ‘who’ and ‘what’ have been historically celebrated;

3) Addressing the problem of reclaiming the ‘other voices’ that have been ignored by the canon, and the possibility of changing the canon of the future.
